Global Solar Expo – Rajasthan 2025 Showcases Energy Leadership and Innovation on Day Two Top 100 Solar Achievers Felicitated by Deputy CM Premchand Bairwa and Minister Gautam Kumar Dak.

The second and final day of the ‘Global Solar Expo – Rajasthan 2025,’ organised by Energy Quotient (EQ) Magazine at the Rajasthan International Centre, witnessed record participation from industry leaders, government representatives, and investors. The key highlight of the expo was the ‘Top 100 Solar Achievers Awards Ceremony,’ where Deputy Chief Minister Shri Premchand Bairwa and Minister of State for Cooperation & Civil Aviation Shri Gautam Kumar Dak honoured leaders, companies, and innovators who made remarkable contributions to the solar energy sector in Rajasthan and across India.

Deputy Chief Minister Bairwa said, “Rajasthan is today the solar capital of India. This expo is not just a platform for technology, but a pathway to new possibilities in energy independence, investment, and employment generation.”

Panel Discussions Outline Roadmap for Storage, Hybrid Solutions & Green Hydrogen

The second day featured multiple sessions under the ‘Suryakon Conference,’ focusing on the future trajectory of renewable energy in the coming decade. Experts, developers, financial institutions, and technology leaders deliberated on key areas including solar + storage, RE100 transition in the C&I sector, cutting-edge solar technologies, and the emerging potential of green hydrogen.

In the presence of chief guest and former MP Ramcharan Bohra, industry and government representatives discussed an integrated roadmap of policy, technology and investment to position Rajasthan as India’s future Green Energy Hub. Jaipur Collector Jitendra Soni, industry leaders, technical experts, and officials from RREC participated in the panels.

Speakers highlighted that solar + storage models will play a decisive role in Rajasthan’s energy security and grid stability. Key discussions also covered circular economy, recycling, skill development, off-grid solar solutions for desert regions, and solar pumping systems for agriculture.

During the C&I session, experts shed light on open access and group captive models, policy and regulatory frameworks, financing structures, PPAs, and their impact on local economies and employment. The sessions stressed that modern technologies and decentralised energy systems will be game-changers for industrial consumers in the coming years.

Technology leaders including Adani Solar and Polycab showcased high-efficiency modules, smart inverters, and new clean-tech innovations, opening new avenues for collaboration.

The Green Hydrogen Panel projected the sector as Rajasthan’s next big energy opportunity. Discussions focused on its role in achieving net-zero goals, electrolyser technologies, production costs, integrated models with energy storage, and applications in decarbonisation. Experts agreed that Rajasthan has the potential to emerge as India’s leading Green Hydrogen Hub.

Expo Marks Successful Conclusion with Strong Industry–Government Synergy

Over two days, the expo attracted more than 2000 visitors, 100+ exhibiting companies, and over 75 speakers, making it the largest and most impactful renewable-energy event ever hosted in Rajasthan. Leading companies such as Adani, Polycab, INA Solar, Navitas, Solis, RPSG and Solitek showcased solar modules, inverters, battery storage, EV charging solutions, smart grid technologies, and other clean-tech systems. Delegates also engaged in productive B2B meetings exploring potential collaboration.

The successful conclusion of the Global Solar Expo – Rajasthan 2025 has provided fresh momentum to the state’s renewable-energy ecosystem, reaffirming Rajasthan’s leadership in India’s clean-energy transition.
